DrDish Television NEWSLETTER

www.DrDish-TV.de / www.DrDish-TV.com

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DrDish Television goes ASTRA at 19.2 deg. East

DrDish Television (Doctor Dish Television), the independent digital
information channel for media and technology goes Astra at 19.2° East.
The regular programme is to start on Friday, May 18, 2007 at 10:00 CET
(08:00 GMT).

DrDish Television’s informative programmes are targeting viewers interested in the future of the digital television and media. DrDish Television is the only independent digital TV channel of this kind, creating a bridge between the satellite industry and consumers.

DrDish Television is transmitting daily from 10.00 to 17.00 CET a variety of programmes which are easy to understand for all viewers. The weekly News Journal informs about the latest news and trends of the media world, the DrDish Magazine comes with test reports, comparison tests, comments, and Q&As to help the viewers solve their most difficult technical problems.

The founder and chief editor of DrDish Television is Christian Mass, an internationally recognised satcom expert, also known as Doctor Dish. The programmes are moderated in German and English languages by Christian Mass (Anchorman), Kinga Szentesi (Managing Editor), Lutz Mahnke (Commentator / Mahnkes Media World) and Sebastian Schuster (News Editor). Gaby Guenther is in charge of Marketing and PR. Her carrier started by the German TV channel SAT1, followed by VOX Television where she was in charge of Licensing & Merchandising. At Starzone she was specialized on advertising concepts for the digital future.

Also, DrDish Television’s current and archive material will soon be available as stream on the channels web site: www.drdish-tv.com. This will enable consumers to compare products before purchasing.

DrDish Television has been transmitting since April 2005 on Hot Bird satellite at 13 deg. east. Using this platform, DrDish Television reached 1.3 million households in Europe, Middle-East, North Africa and parts of Asia.

The change to ASTRA satellite at 19.2 deg. east will assure an even greater coverage, especially in Western Europe, and the German speaking countries. DrDish Television will now reach 38.4 million digital satellite households, from which 8.6 million in German speaking countries. The launch of DrDish Television on ASTRA is scheduled soon. In order to increase the number of viewers (mainly in the German speaking countries), DrDish Television is to start transmitting on Astra satellite at 19.2° East. From this orbital position DrDish Television can be received in 38.4 million digital households (from which 8.6 million households in Germany).

The large number of German speaking viewers will result changes in the editorial content, and therefore DrDish Television has requested a German broadcast license. This marks the importance of the German market for DrDish Television, as well as DrDish Television’s importance within the German market.

The DrDish-Magazine in the English language is still available on HOTBIRD. The re-broadcast is done by our partner ChallengerTV. A programme schedule will be available shortly on our home page www.drdish-tv.com.

For viewers in the U.S.A and Canada the DrDish-Magazine is broadcasted via INTELSAT 3R at 43° West.
